StoryBank.com was founded in 2008 as the brainchild of Mari Rae Visconti. Despite her hectic job as a Domestic Engineer – previously a bodybuilder after the birth of her four children – Mari chose to dive into the world of writing. Over the course of her working in the industry prior to marrying a publisher of 20 years, Mari came to the realization that inspired writers – and the entire industry of publishing – needed a safe, cost-effective way for publishers, editors, and agents to efficiently find new voices.
Though StoryBank.com operates online, Mari remains a patron to the printed word, and every aspect of StoryBank.com was created while keeping in mind how the two mediums will work together.
